[ARCHIVED] Public Health statement on Tuesday vaccine announcements

Public Health statement on Tuesday vaccine announcements

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Klamath County Public Health (KCPH) officials are providing some context for the federal and state announcements Tuesday regarding the COVID-19 vaccine:

KCPH continues to work with community partners in preparation to vaccinate all priority groups outlined within Oregon.

Currently, the allocation of vaccine to Klamath County is unknown, so a timeline for vaccinating all priority groups cannot be established.

There is not enough vaccine currently in the county to vaccinate all priority groups under Phase 1-A at this time.

There is no registry for being vaccinated.

Emails will be sent out from the Klamath County Public Health as more information becomes available. If you would like to receive updates, via email, send a message to KCPH@klamathcounty.org.

If you do not have email, we will make public announcements through the media, including the newspaper, radio stations, and television.

You may also call and hear updates on the vaccine phone line at 541.885.6743.

Please know your health and safety is our top priority. We thank you for your patience and commit to timely updates as information becomes available.
