[ARCHIVED] County Property Sale on October 19th 9am

Board of County Commissioners

PRESS RELEASE

The Klamath County Board of Commissioners has approved an excess property sale to be conducted on Thursday, October 19, 2017. The sale will be from 9AM – 4PM in room 219 of the Klamath County Government Center.

“We will be auctioning 96 sale lots that have been deemed as excess property for the County.  We are working hard to get properties back in the hands of the community and on the tax roll,” said Tax Collector/Property Manager Rick Vaughn. “I would like to commend my colleagues in the Tax Office for the hard work necessary to put together these sales.”

These properties were acquired by the County through tax foreclosures and the majority are bare land parcels with little to no development.  The current sales list can be viewed on the Klamath County website or by going to klamath.countypropertysales.com.  A list of the properties can also be purchased at the Tax office for $10.  Bidders must register before 4:00 PM Oct. 12, 2017.  Details on registration are also available at the Tax office or online at the site listed above.

Questions can be directed to the Tax Office at 541-883-4297.
