On July 12, 2005 the Klamath County Board of Commissioners unanimously agreed that it is in the best interest of the citizens of Klamath County to form the Natural Resource Advisory Council (NRAC). The Council serves the public interest by advising the Board of Commissioners on natural resource issues that have an impact on Klamath County in an ethical and responsible manner. The goals of NRAC are to effectively represent Klamath County residents and communities on issues related to our natural resource economy, to monitor and advise the Klamath County Board of Commissioners of the impacts of federal, state and local legislation and regulatory actions related to our natural resource economy and to assist the Board of Commissioners to communicate and market ideas, concerns and solutions to appropriate agencies, organizations, elected officials and citizens.
