CLUP/ZC 1-22 RC GROUP FOR JOHN JOHNSON

Consideration of a request to approve a Comprehensive Plan Map Designation Change from “Residential” to “Industrial” and Zone Change from Medium Density Residential (RM) to Light Industrial (IL) on 3.50 acres.  The subject property is located on the east side of Crest Street north of Kiger Stadium and is currently undeveloped.  The applicant proposes to develop the area as an office/shop for a construction business and mini-storage.  These uses are not permitted in the RM zone, but are permitted in the IL zone. R-3909-003AA-05200

CLUP/ZC 2-22 PLUM RIDGE FARMS, LLC

Consideration of a request to approve a Comprehensive Plan Map Designation Change from “Commercial” to “Residential” and Zone Change from General Commercial (CG) to Medium Density Residential (RM) on 0.50 acres consisting of two parcels.  Parcel 1 is developed with a single-family dwelling and Parcel 2 is vacant.  The applicant proposes to develop Parcel 2 with a single-family dwelling.  The subject property is located on the south side of Cottage Street between Etna Street and Gary Street. R-3909-002BC-02500 and R-3909-002BC-02501

CLUP 8-20 KLAMATH COUNTY SOLAR ORDINANCE

Klamath County is proposing an ordinance to create siting standards for commercial solar facilities. The ordinance will protect resources within the County by excluding development of commercial solar facilities on properties consisting predominately of soils within the Class 1 to 3 range and/or within wildlife habitat areas designated as Crucial Winter Range by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife
