Klamath County District Attorney

Overview

The Klamath County District Attorney's office prioritizes homicide, crimes of violence against children (which includes both child sex abuse and physical abuse), crimes of violence, property crimes, drug crimes, DUII, animal abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse, and support enforcement.

We also provide information, support, and services to crime victims through our Victim's Assistance programs.

While some prosecutor's nationwide are content to react to the commission of criminal acts, it is my philosophy that by utilizing the resources of this office to prevent crime that the community is better served. Our proactive efforts focus on prevention of school violence, prosecution of juvenile crime, legal representation for the State Office for Services to Children & Families, and community involvement through children's, civic, and charitable organizations.
