Community Corrections was approved to apply and subsequently awarded the 2019-2021 Oregon Criminal Justice Commission’s (CJC) “Justice Reinvestment Grant Program” Grant. The JRI Grant and Supplemental Grant funds finance operations at the Klamath County Jail, the Klamath County Pre-Trial Program, the DDA at the Klamath County District Attorney’s office and the Klamath Evidence Based Sentencing Program, Klamath Basin Behavioral Health, and 10% to Victim Services.
CJC recently conducted an internal review of their professional insurance liability requirements and decided to change the previous condition of $2 million per claim and $4 million on aggregate in coverage for personal liability to only requiring $1 million in coverage per claim and $3 million on aggregate in coverage for personal liability. This amendment agreement reflects the new coverage requirements.
