Consideration of a request to approve a Comprehensive Plan Map Designation change from Forestry to Non-Resource and zone change from Forestry-Range (FR) to Non-Resource (NR) on approximately 356 acres located ½ mile north of the intersection of Adams Point Road and Herschbach Lane; and granting a variance from the home siting standards of the Low-Medium Density Deer Winter Range Overlay. Consideration of a legislative amendment to Article 64 – Fences, Walls and Screening of the Land Development Code to require a permit for any property perimeter fence and require that any non-conforming fence be brought into compliance with the code standards when they are substantially changed or replaced. All existing non-conforming fences, as of the adoption date of this amendment, will be grandfathered.
